비트코인 가격 약세(a weak bitcoin price)

비트코인 항상 뜨거운 감자다.

난 비트코인을 좋게 보는 사람이다.

새로운 화폐의 등장인 것이다.

사라진다고 하기엔 너무 멀리 왔다. 2008년 처음 소개된 이후에 현제 2022년까지 살아남은 것이다. 

비트코인이 왜 좋냐? 라고 사람들이 물어보면 사실 지식이 없어서 딱히 대답을 못했었다.

처음 비트코인을 알게 된 건(2010년도로 기억한다) 취업 박람회에 갔다가. 지나가던 부스에서 설명을 듣고 나서다

어떤 여자분이 면접을 봤었는데, 취업 여부 관계없이 꼭 사두라고 이야기했었다. 명함도 한 장 받았던 거 같은데 그냥 스쳐서 지나갔었다.

그리고 12년도에 다큐 프로그램에서 중국의 채굴장을 보여주었다. 어마어마한 규모에 깜짝 놀라서 다음날 알아보게 되었다.

당시 여자 친구(현제 와이프)와 이야기하면서 알아보니 가격이 1 BTC에 30만 원 정도 했는데 예전 1000원도 안 하던 가격을 기억하며 많이 올랐으니 사지 말자고 했다. 그리고 또 스쳐 지나갔다.

그리고 17년도 다시 한번 불장이 왔다. 비트코인 가격이 2000만 원을 넘어선 거다. 그때도 관심 가지지 않았다 하지만 건너 건너에 누가 비트코인으로 건물주가 되었다더라. 누구는 해외로 놀러 나가서 들어오질 않는다더라. 등등의 이야기를 접하게 되었다. 그때가 가격이 빠져서 1 BTC에 300만 원쯤 했던 걸로 기억한다. 와이프에게 주변 이야기를 해주면서 예전 30만 원에 봤던 게 2000만 원까지 갔었다고 이야기하니 우리도 좀 사둘까? 물어봤었다.

그때 우연히 보았던 티브이 프로그램에서 유시민 작가가 나와서 비트코인은 사기라는 말을 했었다.

'저 똑똑하고 많이 배운 사람도 아니라고 하는데 비트코인은 안 되는 거야'라고 또 한 번 스쳐 보냈다.

그리고 현재에 와서 21년도에 다시 한번 불장이 오면서 8000만 원이 되더라.....................

코인이 뭔지 아예 관심이 없었으면 모르지만 관심이 있던지라 너무너무 허무했다.

전문가 수준은 아니지만 공부를 시작했다. 조금이라도 알아야 스스로 납득을 시킬 수 있으니.

유튜브도 보고 뉴스도 읽었다. 어려웠다. 거래소에 들어가서 차트를 보고 뉴스를 읽고 그래도 잘 모르겠더라.

그러다가 유튜브에 오태민 작가님 채널인 '지혜의 족보'채널을 만나게 되었다.

비트코인 가격 이야기는 없고 국제 시스템, 인문학, 지정학 등등 평소 어렵게만 생각한 문제들을 하나하나 풀어주셨다.

그래도 어려웠다. 지혜의 족보 책도 읽어보았다. 이것도 어려웠다.

그러다가 최근에는 찰리브라웅이라는 분의 유튜브도 알게 되었다. 이분은 뉴스에 근거해서 국제 사회가 어떻게 움직일지 근거를 들어서 일반인들도 알기쉽게 풀어주신다. 그래도 난 어렵다.

오태민 작가님, 찰리브라웅 두 분 다 경제적 부분의 나의 선생님이다. 계속 어렵다고 이야기하는 중이지만 이해 안 되는 와중에 비트코인 현상에 대한 납득과 필요성 정도는 이제는 어필할 정도가 되었다.

현제 러시아와 우크라이나가 한창 싸우고 있다. 미국은 러시아를 겨냥해서 스위프트 제제를 시작했고, 루블화 가치가 급격히 떨어졌었다(지금은 오히려 많이 올랐지요) 그때 러시아의 금융을 움직일 수 있게 했던 게 비트코인이다.

쉽게 설명해 보자면 우리나라에서 전쟁이 나서 해외로 나가야 한다 만약 국내 전산은 다운이 되었고 한화는 휴지 조각이 되었으며 달러는 인출해놓았지만 국경을 넘어가거나 검문소를 지날 때 부패한 무리들한테 빼앗 길 수도 있을 거다. 하지만 비트코인은 지갑 비밀번호만 알면 된다. 내 머릿속까지 들여다볼 수는 없을 테니까, 비밀번호를 외워서 안전한 곳에서 지갑에 있는 코인을 인출하면 된다. 개인 간 직접 거래도 가능하고 거래소로 옮겨서 인출도 가능하다. 전산이 다운되기 전에 해외거래소에 비트코인이 있다면 안전한 곳에 가서 인출할 수도 있을 것이다. 물론 너무 극단적인 상황만 이야기했는데(지금은 통신이 완전히 끊길 가능성은 없다고 본다) 중앙화 되어있지 않는 화폐기 때문에 국경도 없고 필요로 하는 사람이 있다면 개인 간에도 간단하게 교환이 가능하다는 말이다. 즉 가치가 있다는 거다. 가치!!!

매우 중요한 가치!!. 비트코인과 현물을 바꿀 수 있다는 약속 그 가치!! 이렇게 이야기해도 그건 특수한 경우 아니냐고 말하는 사람들이 있다. 그럼 물어본다 너한테 1 비트코인 준다면 너는 가치가 없다고 생각하니깐 다른 사람 줄 거냐고. 그러면 다들 현금으로 바꿀 거라고 한다. 이 사람아 그게 가치다!! 가치!! 가치가 있다고 믿으니깐 거래가 일어나는 거다.

비트코인은 2100만 개로 발행 양이 정해져 있다. 수요와 공급에 의해서 한정된 자원에 필요로 하는 사람이 많을수록 자원의 가격은 비싸지고 있다. 아까 말한 2008년도와 비교해서 비트코인의 수요는 어떨까?? 다시 10년 후 20년 후에는?? 수요가 계속 늘어나는 와중에 비트코인이 반감기를 맞이한다면 그때마다 가격은 올라갈 것이다. 반대로 인플레이션으로 인해서 돈의 가치가 떨어지면 비트코인은 그대로지만 돈이 싸지니깐 1달러로 살 코인은 2달러 3달러로 사야 된다는 이야기이다. 부동산도 마찬가지 아닌가? 땅은 그대로인데 돈 가치가 떨어지니깐 돈을 더 가지고 와야 등기를 칠 수 있는 거다.

부동산 급등으로 아파트가 몇 년 동안 가격이 2~3배 비싸졌다 그럼 돈의 가치가 절반으로 줄은 것인가 아파트가 비싸진 것인가?? 생각해보자 그러면 비트코인은 한정적인데 자산으로 인정하고 보관하는 사람들이 많아진다고 가정하자(실제로도 그렇게 느껴진다. 처음 비트코인을 접했을 때는 아는 사람이 나밖에 없었는데 지금은 할머니 할아버지들도 다들 알고는 있으니깐) 그럼 그 가치는 어떻게 될까?? 지금 2~3천만 원 하는 건 옛이야기처럼 2~3억이 되지 않을까? 아니 뒷자리에 0이 몇 개씩 더 붙지는 않을까??

확실히 어떻게 될 거다!!라고 이야기하며 대출 끌어서 올인하라는 이야기는 아니다. 몇몇은 그렇게 해서 부자가 될 사람도 있겠지만, 가정이 있고 더 이상 금전적 여유를 만들기 어려운 사람들은 투자를 못한다고 이야기할 수도 있다. 그러면 이렇게 하자 10만 원이나 20만 원 매달 사는 거다 가격이 높건 높지 않건 계속. 10억이 될 때까지 그냥 꾸준히 사는거다. 1비트가 10억이되면 다시50억이 될때까지 그럼 어느 순간 나도 자산가가 되어있지 않을까??

돈이 없다고 그런 돈 없다고 할 거면 담배값을 아니 술 한잔 먹을 돈을 아껴서 한 달에 한번 정도 모아 보는 건 어떤가?

몇백 배 몇천 배 올라간다고 하는 알트코인을 이야기하는 게 아니다 그냥 비트코인이다(개인적으로 알트코인도 소액 모아가고 있다) 로또도 한주에 몇만 원씩 사는 마당에 술 한잔 덜먹고 외식비 아껴서 살만한 가치가 있지 않은가?? 가격이 안정적이 어서 안 되겠다고?? 그때가 되면 늦은 거다. 주식도 누구나가 인정하는 우량주는 몇 배씩 한 번에 올라가지 않는다. 마찬가지 비트코인이 누구나가 인정하는 우량주가 되면 그때는 지금처럼 큰 시세를 기대하기 어려울 것이다. 

비트코인은 주식이 아니라고??

그러니까 지금 가치를 더 높게 보아야 한다. 비트코인이 가치가 불안정한 게 아니라 코인 시장 자체가 불안정한 거다 그래서 지금 비트코인에 기회가 있는 것이고, 알트코인중 몇몇은 분명 삶을 꼭대기 층까지 올려줄 것이다(내가 됐으면 좋겠다)

잠깐만 생각하려고 했는데 많이도 떠들었다.

오태민 작가님처럼 인문학적으로 이야기할 만큼 이해도가 높지 않다.

찰리브라웅님처럼 뉴스를 해석하고 분석할 정도로 이해도가 높지 않다.

그런데 비트코인 좋은 건 알겠다. 그게 내 생각이다. 집사람을 설득하고 이해시키는 게 가장 어렵지만 나 빼고 다들 아니라고 하지만 그냥 뚜벅뚜벅 내갈길 가련다. 먼지만큼의 코인만 모아가고 있지만, 그래도 대부분의 사람들보다는 먼저 시작하고 있으니깐 짧게 데이트레이딩이 아니라 모아가는 투자를 하고 있으니깐. 빨리 2025년이 왔으면 좋겠다.

그때 즈음에는 내 인생이 훨씬 나아져 있기를 기대해본다.
